A low-coding development platform fit for the enterprise, started by the Node-RED co-founder, now a part of the OpenJS Foundation
The startup’s mission is to build a low-code development platform fit for the enterprise with Node-RED at its core.
“With its roots in IBM, Node-RED has been a foundational technology for developers as they explore what is possible,” said OpenJS Foundation Board Chairperson and Vice President of Open Technology at IBM, Todd Moore. “With FlowForge continuing this mission into the enterprise, it provides developer communities a unique tool to build IoT applications.”
“One of our founding principles is the importance of Open Source being at the core of what we do,,” said Founder and CTO of FlowForge Nick O’Leary. “We want to continue to support the community, and joining the OpenJS Foundation is a great way for us to reaffirm that support and bring value to the work we’re doing.”
“Node-RED is at the core of FlowForge and our success, it’s vital for the Node-RED community to be supported and successful and we’re happy to help the community where we can,” said FlowForge CEO Zeger-Jan van de Weg. “The OpenJS Foundation is a key piece of our mission in open source, and we’re excited to have FlowForge be a part of this community.”
