vlt technology is developing a new package manager and public registry infrastructure for the JavaScript community. Upcoming Launch at NodeConf EU

Excitement continues to build as it plans to make a significant splash at NodeConf EU, where it will introduce its new tools to the wider community. vlt technology leadership team consists of seasoned industry veterans, many of whom have played pivotal roles in the evolution of the Node.js and npm ecosystems. Their open-source journey began in the early days of jQuery, the Node.js Foundation, and the JS Foundation, and they are now ready to write the next chapter with vlt technology Inc.

CEO Darcy Clarke leads vlt's technology mission to enhance the developer experience, leveraging his passion for open source and experience as a Staff Engineering Manager for npm and GitHub CLI. He is joined by Isaac Schlueter, the creator of npm, whose leadership in the Node.js project was instrumental. Ruy Adorno, a member of the Node.js Technical Steering Committee, drives innovation at npm and GitHub, while Luke Karrys, the primary maintainer of Node-GYP and GitHub/npm alum, bolsters vlt technology position within the JS ecosystem.
